CHOWDER 
6 c. tomato juice
6 c. water
4 med. onions, sliced
3 c. carrots, cut up
3 c. celery, cut up
3 c. potatoes, cut up
5 beef bouillon cubes
3 bay leaves
1/4 c. rice, uncooked
1 tbsp. sugar
1 (12 oz.) can Mexicana corn
2 lbs. ground beef
2 tsp. salt
2 eggs, beaten
2 tbsp. milk
3 tbsp. flour
1/3 tsp. pepper

Fry ground beef with salt. Add eggs and milk and flour. Add pepper. Mix rest of ingredients and top with cracker crumbs. Bake in hot oven for 1/2 hour and then reduce heat to 325 degrees for another 1/2 hour. My mom made this too!
