GERMAN CHEESE CAKE 
4 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 lemon rind, grated
1 tbsp. vanilla
5 eggs
1 pt. sour cream
1 tbsp. cornstarch

Place cream cheese, sugar, lemon rind and vanilla into mixer and blend until smooth. Add eggs, sour cream and cornstarch. Blend mixture. Pour into springform pan. Bake at 350 for one hour. Let set in oven for one hour with heat off (this prevents cracking). Chill and serve. May be served with topping if you wish.
