GERMAN CHEESE POUND CAKE 
1/2 lb. sweet butter
1/2 lb. cream cheese
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream together the butter and cream cheese. Add sugar, eggs, flour, and vanilla; beat well.

Place in a well greased and floured tube pan and bake at 350 degrees for 50 or 60 minutes. Top with icing if desired.
