FORGOTTEN COOKIES | |
The trick is to "forget" these cookies! 2 egg whites 1/4 tsp. salt 3/4 c. sugar 6 oz. chocolate bits 1 tsp. vanilla Preheat oven to 375°F. Sprinkle salt into egg whites and whip until they will mold a soft peak, then beat in the sugar, a tablespoon at a time. Continue to beat until very stiff but not dry. Fold in chocolate bits. Add vanilla. Drop mixture by teaspoonfuls, making small mounds on a greased cookie sheet. Place in preheated 375°F oven and immediately turn off heat. Do not open oven door or look at cookies until the next day. Remove from oven and pan. Submitted by: Bev Kelley |
