4 apples, sliced
5 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
4 eggs
1 c. salad oil
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. orange juice

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In small bowl, toss apples with sugar and cinnamon. In large bowl, mix flour, sugar, and baking powder. Stir in eggs and oil. Add vanilla and orange juice. In greased fluted pan, place 1/3 of the apples. Cover with batter, apples, batter etc. Bake for 1 hour. Let cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan.
