SHRIMP OKRA GUMBO 
1 lg. onion
1 bell pepper
3 stalks celery
4 green onions
1/4 c. flour
1/4 c. oil
1 to 2 qt. okra
1 to 2 lb. shrimp
Salt & pepper
Garlic powder
Creole seasoning
Worcestershire sauce

Make a light brown roux with flour and oil. Add chopped onion, bell pepper, celery, green onions and okra. Cook until vegetables are soft and there is not slime on okra. Add seasoned shrimp and cook until shrimp are done. Add water and seasonings. Cook until desired consistency and flavor is reached.
