CALIFORNIA CABBAGE SALAD 
1/2 head cabbage
3/4 c. frozen peas
1/2 c. slivered almonds or peanuts
1/4 c. sunflower seeds
1/8 c. sesame seeds
1 pkg. Ramen Chinese noodles (chicken)

DRESSING:

2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. white vinegar
1/2 c. oil
Flavoring pkg. from noodle mix

Cut cabbage into bite-size pieces. In frying pan saute almonds or peanuts, seeds, and noodles that you crumble in your hands. Just lightly saute these in about 1 tablespoon butter. Let this thoroughly cool. Combine cabbage, peas (just defrosted, not cooked) and other ingredients. Add dressing just before serving.
