4 c. shredded cabbage
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter
1/8 tsp. pepper

Combine in saucepan and heat to boiling. Cook, stirring occasionally, 3 to 5 minutes.
