HERB BASTE FOR TURKEY OR CHICKEN 
1/2 c. butter softened
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. poultry seasoning
1 tsp. sweet basil
1 tsp. thyme leaves crushed
1/2 tsp. sage
1 tsp. pepper

Salt turkey as usual for baking, then every half hour baste with above mixture until done. A great flavor to meat and broth. Adds delicious taste to dressing.
