QUICK BUT DEADLY CHOCOLATE
BROWNIES
 
1/2 c. butter
4 oz. unsweetened baking chocolate
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. broken walnut meats (optional)

1. Melt butter and chocolate in a saucepan (1 1/2 - 2 quarts) over low heat.

2. Remove from heat, stir well, then stir in the sugar and beat in the eggs and vanilla.

3. Quickly stir in flour, salt and nuts.

4. Spread into a well greased 8x10 inch or 9x12 inch baking pan.

5. Bake 325 degrees 35 minutes for smaller or 30 minutes for larger.
