1 (3 oz.) cream cheese, softened
3 tbsp. butter, softened
1 tbsp. flour
1 egg
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Beat together the softened cream cheese and butter. Add the sugar, egg, flour and vanilla; beat until smooth and set aside. Prepare 1 package Duncan Hines original fudge brownie mix using cake-like instructions. Spread half the brownie batter into greased 8 inch square pan.

Pour all of the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter. Spoon the remaining brownie batter in spots over the top. Swirl the two mixtures together with a knife or spatula. Bake at 350 degrees for 36 to 39 minutes. Cool and frost.
