1/2 c. Crisco
2 sticks butter
1 lb. light brown sugar
5 eggs
1 c. milk
3 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. white sugar

Cream Crisco, butter, white and brown sugar. Add flavoring, eggs, one at a time, and then other ingredients. Bake in tube pan for 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees.
