PORK CHOPS AND APPLES | |
4 (1 inch thick) pork loin chops 2 tbsp. butter 1 c. chopped tart apple 1/4 c. brown sugar 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1. Wipe pork chops with damp paper towels. Melt butter in large skillet over medium heat; add pork chops and brown, about 2 minutes per side. 2. Place 1/4 cup chopped apple on top of each pork chop. Reduce heat to low and cook, covered, for 20 minutes or until apple is tender. 3. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over pork chops. Top each with lemon slice. Cover skillet again; cook 5 minutes longer or until sugar is melted. |
