2 c. chocolate chip cookies, crushed
1/3 c. butter, melted
1 qt. chocolate ice cream, slightly softened
Chocolate flavored syrup
Sweetened whipped cream
Chocolate chip cookies, broken into pieces

In medium bowl, stir together crushed cookies and butter. Press on bottom and sides of 9 inch pie pan. Freeze until firm, 10 minutes. Spread ice cream over crust. Cover, freeze until firm, 6 hours or overnight. Just before serving, drizzle pie with chocolate syrup. If desired, garnish with sweetened whipped cream and pieces of chocolate chip cookies. 8 servings.
