SPAETZLE SAUERKRAUT SAUTE 
1/2 c. diced onions
2 c. fresh sauerkraut
1 c. spaetzle

Saute onions in butter until transparent. Add sauerkraut and defrosted spaetzle and heat through. Serve with a salad as a light luncheon or as an accompaniment to your favorite entree.

NOTE: Spaetzle is a fully cooked, high protein egg noodle with a rich buttery flavor. Spaetzle is used in place of pasta or potatoes and is a very good and easy compliment for soups, stews, fish, roasts and chicken.
