ICE CREAM CAKE 
1 frozen pound cake, cut in 3 layers
1 qt. vanilla ice cream, thaw until creamy

Mix with 1/2 cup slivered almonds and 1 pint sliced strawberries. Fold strawberries and nuts into ice cream. Spread between cake layers and freeze.

ICING: Beat 1/2 cup whipping cream until foamy. Add 1/4 cup powdered sugar, beat until stiff. Ice cake and freeze until ready to serve. Garnish with fresh whole strawberries.
