FRIED APPLE PIES 
5 lbs. self rising flour
3 c. sugar (or 1 1/2 c.)
1 3/4 c. oil
6 eggs
1 can Pet milk
1 can water

Mix well with hands and roll thin. Cut and stack with waxed paper between. Best wrapped by the dozen. Freeze.

Cook 3 packages dried apples until tender. Add 2 teaspoons Sweet 'N Low and 1/2 cup sugar (or to taste). Add sugar and flour to thicken. Add nutmeg and cinnamon to suit your taste.

Wet pastry circles around edges, fill with apples (1 tablespoon) and press edges together. Drop in deep, hot fat a couple at a time. Drain on paper sacks. Keeps for several days.
