PRETZEL SALAD 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. pretzels, crushed
1 1/2 cubes butter, melted
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello
3 tbsp. sugar
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
1 c. sugar
3 c. boiling water
1 lg. pkg. frozen strawberries

Mix crushed pretzels (leave some for topping), 3 tablespoons sugar and butter. Line bottom of 9"x13" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes. Add Cool Whip to softened cream cheese and 1 cup sugar; mix well. Pour onto baked crust and chill. Mix Jello, boiling water and frozen strawberries. Cool until syrupy. Pour onto above mixture. Sprinkle pretzel crumbs on top and refrigerate. Top with thin layer of Cool Whip.
