HAM 'N BISCUIT CASSEROLE | |
Get Cinnamon Raisin Biscuit recipe from Breads and Rolls section. COL. #1: 2 c. cubed cooked ham 1 can whole kernel corn, drained 1 c. diced cooked potatoes 1/4 c. minced celery leaves or parsley 1 tbsp. instant minced onion 1/4 tsp. dry mustard 1/4 tsp. paprika 1/8 tsp. ground pepper COL. #2: 1/4 c. butter 2 tbsp. flour 2 c. milk Combine all ingredients in Col. #1 in 2-quart casserole. In a saucepan, melt butter and add 2 tablespoons flour, stirring until smooth. Gradually add milk, keeping smooth. Return to heat and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Mix with ingredients in casserole. Bake 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees. If baking biscuits on top, raise heat to 425 degrees after 15 minutes, top with biscuits and bake 15-20 minutes longer. Served with a salad or cole slaw you'll have a complete meal for 4 or 5. |
