1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. cocoa
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. vanilla
1/3 c. oil
1 c. cold water

ICING:

2 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 stick butter
3 tbsp. milk
1/2 box (2 c.) sifted powdered sugar

Mix dry ingredients. Make 3 holes in mixture and pour in vinegar, vanilla and oil. Pour cold water over all and mix with fork until there are no lumps. Pour into a greased 8x8 or 9x9 inch pan. Bake 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees.

Ice cake while still warm. Bring cocoa, butter and milk to a boil, remove from heat and add powdered sugar. Mix.
