GRATED AU GRATIN POTATOES 
12 med. potatoes, grated
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. onion or garlic salt
1/2 lb. mild Cheddar cheese, grated
1 c. cream or evaporated milk

Cook unpeeled potatoes in water until almost tender. Cool. (May be done a day early.) Peel and grate using a coarse grater. Grease 13 x 9 inch pan. Cover bottom with half the potatoes. Sprinkle with half the seasonings. Top with half the cheese. Repeat for top layer. Pour cream over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until browned on top.
