CORN HUSK COOKERY | |
Fresh corn on the cob Peel back the green husks from ears of corn, and remove the silks. Place the husks back over the corn and tie in place with a piece of husk or string. Soak corn 15 minutes in cold water; drain. Line the ears of corn on a cookie sheet or large baking pan. Place in a preheated moderate oven (350 degrees) for 15 minutes. Serve hot using tongs for handling. To eat, remove the husks. Coat the corn with melted butter or favorite spread and seasons. Allow 2 ears of corn per person. |
