1 lb. dates, cut up
1 can Eagle Brand condensed milk

Boil 8 minutes in double boiler (until thick). Add 1 cup chopped nuts. Spread on oval crackers.

ICING:

4 tbsp. browned butter
2 tbsp. cream
1 tbsp. vanilla
Enough powdered sugar to spread

Makes large batch!
