DATE PUDDING 
3 eggs, beaten
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. dates, chopped
1 c. nuts, chopped

Beat eggs and sugar until light, add sifted dry ingredients. Stir in dates and nuts. Turn onto greased 8 inch square pan. Bake in pan of hot water in moderate oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serve hot or cold with whipped cream. Can be made the day before.
