PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES 
1 c. (2 sticks) shortening (Crisco)
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs well beaten
1 c. peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Cream Crisco and sugars. Add eggs, peanut butter and vanilla and dry ingredients and blend well. Shape into walnut size balls. Roll in sugar and flatten with fork on greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350°F for 12 minutes.
