VEGETABLE SOUP 
4 lbs. roast, cooked
2 to 4 lbs. ground beef
2 onions
5 potatoes, diced
1 qt. tomato juice
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
3 to 4 cans mixed vegetables
1 can corn
1 can butter beans

You can make it with ground beef or roast.

Add water to pan and ground beef or roast, add onions. Cook about 1 1/2 hours then add potatoes, corn, butter beans, mix vegetables, and tomato juice with tomatoes. Cook about 1 hour, add salt, black pepper, and 1 tablespoon sugar.
