SPAGHETTI PIE | |
6 oz. spaghetti, cooked and drained 2 tbsp. butter 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese 2 eggs, well beaten 1 c. cottage cheese 1 lb. ground beef or Italian sausage (or half and half) 1 (16 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce 3/4 c. Mozzarella cheese Mix hot spaghetti with butter. Stir in Parmesan cheese and eggs. Form spaghetti mixture into a greased 10-inch pie plate. Spread cottage cheese over bottom of "crust." In a skillet, brown meat; drain and add spaghetti sauce. Heat through. Turn mixture into "crust." Sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese. Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees. Let set about 15 minutes before cutting into pie pieces. You can make this completely ahead and refrigerate until needed. Also great as a leftover. |
