BEAN SOUP | |
1 lb. Navy beans 10 c. water 1 ham hock 1 bay leaf 1 tsp. pepper 1 lg. onion, minced 2 lg. ribs celery 1/4 c. parsley 2 cloves garlic 1 tsp. each salt, oregano, basil 1/2 tsp. nutmeg Soak beans in 6 cups of water 12 hours in crockpot. Add remaining water and ingredients. Cook 3-4 hours. |
