HAMBURGER - CHEESE CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 tsp. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
4 c. uncooked med. noodles
1 c. cream style cottage cheese
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1/4 c. sour cream
1/3 c. sliced green onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1/4 c. shredded Parmesan cheese

In large skillet, cook meat and onion until meat is lightly browned and onion is tender. Stir in next 5 ingredients. Remove from heat. Meanwhile, cooked noodles according to package directions; drain. Combine cottage cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, green onions and green pepper. Spread half the noodles in 11 x 7 x 1 1/2 inch baking pan. Top with a little of the meat sauce. Cover with cheese mixture. Add remaining noodles and meat sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
