HOMEMADE OREO SANDWICH COOKIES
1 cake mix (any kind, preferably chocolate)
1 egg
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, (softened, not melted)
1 can frosting (preferably vanilla)

Mix first 3 ingredients and roll into small quarter size round balls. Place onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350°F for 8 to 10 minutes, Let cool and frost. Match up and stick together with another cookie, and you have your "Oreo" looking sandwich cookie, but tastes 10x better!

Hints: Make sure that oil is the first ingredient in the butter or they wont turn out as well. Don't over cook or they will be hard! Most cookies turn out better if you refrigerate batter first, for at least 1 to 2 hours, but you don't have to.

Variations:

Try Lemon or Strawberry flavored cake mix for summertime, way good as well! For Valentines Day cookies, try to flatten or roll out and make heart shaped cookies, and color the batter or frosting, very cute and romantic! XOXO
