SPAGHETTI SAUCE 
1 pound ground beef, browned
4 8 oz. cans tomato sauce
1 6 oz. can tomato paste
1 28 oz. can tomatoes, cut up
1 can water
1 onion, diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp. ground parsley
1 tsp. ground oregano
2 bay leaves
1 tsp. salt

Brown ground beef and drain.

In olive oil, soften diced onion and garlic cloves taking care not to burn garlic. (They become bitter when burned.)

In large pot and over low hear, combine sauce, paste, tomatoes, onion and garlic and water. Add meat. Cook for 3 hours, stirring often.

At last 10 minutes of cooking, add 1 tsp. salt or salt to taste. Serve sauce warm over pasta.
