APPLE DAPPLE 
2 sticks butter
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. diced apples
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. light brown sugar
1 stick butter
1/4 c. milk

Cream 2 sticks of butter and sugar; mix in eggs. Add and beat well, flour, cinnamon, baking soda and vanilla. Fold in apples and nuts. Pour into greased and floured pan.

Bake at 350°F for 30 to 40 minutes. While cake is baking, boil 1 1/2 minutes, brown sugar, 1 stick butter and milk. When cake is done, prick top with fork and then pour mix over top.
