HEAVENLY APPLE CAKE 
CRUMBS:

3 c. flour
3 sticks butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Mix with hands until crumbly. Save.

CAKE:

1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. milk

Mix together; beat well.

Pour batter into pan. Put drained apples over batter in layers and sprinkle with cinnamon. Cover apples with crumb mixture. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees and cool in oven 1/2 hour. Let cool and sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
