Turkey Wild Rice Soup

 Jim Fergen says:
Wonderful tasting soup and I never even added the bacon bits. I did a final strip of the turkey carcass with 5-6 cups of water which I then used to cook rice/onion. I drained the rice to get 3 cups of liquid, which was a bit flat on taste so I replaced with like amount of straight chicken broth. I added 1/2-2/3 cup of coarsely chopped small white mushrooms - great add. Thanks for the recipe.
