HERBED STRING BEAN SALAD 
1 (10 oz.) pkg. French style string beans, thawed
1 c. black olives
1 c. Spanish olives
1 c. green onions (excluding bulb), chopped
3/4 c. sliced celery
1/2 c. sliced pimiento
1 can artichoke hearts (in water), cut into quarters
1 c. sliced or button mushrooms, canned
1 lg. green pepper, cut into rings
1 can anchovies (opt.)
Bottled Italian salad dressing (oil based)

Mix all ingredients except anchovies and green pepper rings with salad dressing and marinate at least 2 to 3 hours in refrigerator. Place peppers and anchovies on top. Serve chilled. HINT: I use a wooden salad bowl and rub the inside of it with a cut garlic clove before mixing the ingredients.
