2nd time cooking this and it is delicious. My husband loves cubed steak but me not so much. Tried this recipe and now I'm a fan. Cubed steak has been added back to the grocery list. Thank you for posting this recipe!

This recipe was soooo very yummy! I cooked up some onions, peppers and mushrooms in my cast iron fry pan.Took them out when they were tender. Placed the tenderized cubed steak in the same pan, added the "soups" (did not add any water like the can soup asked for)I guessed at that! It was a perfect gravy! We had potato as a side instead of rice. So glad to have found this "keeper" for a cheaper cut of meat!

This recipe was super easy & so delicious (especially the gravy!). Also, very convenient since I usually have all the ingredients on hand. I will be making this again since my kids loved it as well.

First time trying this recipe and it was extremely amazing! I used the beefy mushroom instead and it was great. Rice is a good choice, but I went with mash potatoes and green beans 10 stars!

I have not tried any of these recipes yet. I just wanted to share, that my mom always used golden mushroom soup instead. I am making it tonight, but I do not remember exactly how she prepared it, so I am looking for ideas.

Loved this recipe. I didn't have cream of onion but I did as someone else said and sauteed onion and green pepper before browning the meat and I used (I know, it's shameful) cream of chicken. I felt this should have some sauteed mushrooms as a topper (and I don't even really like mushrooms) as well as possibly some French's fried onions as a topper. This was a great recipe though and one I will be using again and again! Thank you :)

I prepared this recipe two nights ago. Quite possibly the best cube steak I have ever put in my mouth. Didn't have any rice or noodles, so I whipped up some sour cream biscuits. Simple and delicious.

Amazing! I just finished cooking this, and I enjoyed every second of it. The taste is out of this world..Instead of French Onion I used Cream of Onion 1/2 can and the Beefy Mushroom, along with Cream of Mushroom. I steamed some veggies, and cooked rice. I layered my bottom with rice and then layered with veggies, and then the cubed beef cut in chunks and final the gravy.... Thanks for posting! Great meal for the family. This is on my food list for cooking. :)

I never use cream of mushroom because I don't care for mushrooms. I always use cream of chicken, the powder onion soup, add hot water mix together, and pour over my cube steak...always delicious one of my family FAV...

We scraped the pan honey!!! Only change I made was I used 1 can cream of mushroom and hubby forgot to get a can of c/onion so I had to use a can of c/chicken that I already had!!! It was DELICIOUS!!!! Kids ages 5/2 loved it as well! They cried because I couldn't cook more and they are very picky eaters.. Lol
