CHAMPAGNE PUNCH 
1 bottle champagne (4/5's)
1 bottle Rhine wine (4/5's)
1 lg. bottle sparkling water
1 recipe lemon ice

LEMON ICE:

1 qt. water
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 egg white beaten until; stiff
3/4 c. lemon juice (approx. 4 lemons)

Boil water, sugar for 5 minutes. Cool! Add lemon juice and beaten egg white. Freeze. May be tinted with food coloring to match party theme at the time.

About 1/2 hour before serving, place lemon ice in punch bowl and break into chunks. At serving time add rest of the ingredients. Make sure champagne, etc., is very cold before adding.

Serves approximately 18.
