“GRANOLA BARS” IS IN:

GRANOLA BARS 
4 cups uncooked oats (not instant)
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 cup raisins (optional)
1/2 cup shredded coconut
1 cup chopped nuts (cashews, walnuts or peanuts are all good!)
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter, melted
1/2 cup honey

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Mix well with greased hands, and press into a well greased 15-1/2 x 10 x 1/2-inch jelly roll pan.

Bake at 350°F for 8 to 10 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool thoroughly and cut into bars. Store in an airtight container to keep them chewy.

This recipe is awesome! We doubled the batch the second time we made it to fit a large sheet, used sliced almonds, and a large tablespoon of strawberry jam. You can also add peanut butter & chia seeds for more variety and more protein. You can cut the butter 1/3 or 1/4 without noticing much of a difference. really great boost to the day!! :)
