PEAS AND ONIONS IN CREAM 
2 (1 lb.) cans tiny peas
1 (1 lb.) can small white onions
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. heavy cream
Salt and pepper to taste

Drain and save liquid from peas. Boil liquid rapidly until reduced to 1/2 cup. Add drained peas. Drain onions and add to peas. Season with butter, salt and pepper. Add cream just before serving. Heat to serving temperature but do not boil. Makes 8 servings.
