PRUNE AND SPICE QUICK BREAD 
1 c. sifted all purpose flour
1/2 c. unsifted whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
1 lg. egg
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. buttermilk or sour milk
1 tbsp. corn oil
1/2 c. chopped pitted prunes

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly coat a 9 1/4 x 5 1/4 x 2 3/4 loaf pan with cooking spray and set aside. In a large bowl, combine all purpose flour, whole wheat flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Set aside. In a large bowl, combine the egg and sugar and beat well with a fork. Stir in butter milk and corn oil. Add to flour mixture and stir just until the dry ingredients are moistened. Mix in prunes and put batter in loaf pan. Cook 40 minutes.

Delicious it was very moist. I had to use brown sugar as I ran out of the white sugar. Also I used white wheat flour only. I also used some stewed prunes leftover from another recipe and topped this with cinnamon sugar before baking. Thanks for posting - will go into my rotation!
