SPINACH DIP 
1 pkg. vegetable soup mix (brand name does not matter, but Knorr is the best)
1 pkg. chopped fresh or frozen spinach
1 (8 oz.) sour cream
16 oz. mayonnaise
1 can water chestnuts, sliced
3 scallion onions

Mix together soup mix, sour cream, and mayonnaise in a bowl. Finely chop water chestnuts into small pieces, and the same for the scallion onions. Then add chopped spinach, (you do not need to cook spinach if fresh, if frozen defrost and drain). Fold in with other ingredients. Serve in Rye Bread or with Carr assorted water crackers.
