CHRISTMAS BRUNCH 
8 slices white bread
1 pkg. (8 oz.) Old English pasteurized process American cheese slices
1/4 c. butter, melted
3 eggs
1 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. black pepper
2 c. milk

Trim crusts from bread, discard crusts or save for other uses. Cut bread into 1 inch squares. Cut the cheese slices into bite size pieces. In a greased 2 quart casserole dish, alternate layers of bread and cheese. Pour melted butter over the layers. Beat eggs; stir in salt, dry mustard, pepper and milk. Combine thoroughly. Pour egg mixture over bread cheese layers. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Uncover, bake 30 minutes longer or unti until casserole is golden and puffy.
