PRALINE SUNDAE SAUCE | |
2 1/2 c. dark brown sugar, packed 1 1/3 c. light corn syrup 1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. evaporated milk 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 2 c. pecan halves Combine sugar, syrup and butter in top of a double boiler over boiling water and cook, stirring constantly until thick 8-10 minutes. Remove from heat and cool slightly. Stir in milk, vanilla and pecan halves. Serve warm. Store sauce in refrigerator. Makes 4 cups. |
