4 c. uncooked oatmeal 1 1/2 c. wheat germ 1 c. grated coconut 1/4 c. powdered milk 1/2 tbsp. cinnamon 1 tbsp. brown sugar 1/3 c. vegetable oil 1/2 c. honey 1 tbsp. vanilla 1/2 c. sesame seeds 1/2 c. raw nuts, seeds, or raisins Put oven on 250 degrees. In large bowl mix dry ingredients. In a saucepan combine oil, honey, and vanilla until warm. Add to dry ingredients; stir until all the particles are coated. Hand mixing is better. Spread this mixture out in a long low pan or rimmed baking sheets, well greased. Bake for 1 hour; turn mixture with spatula from time to time. When finished roasting, add dry fruits such as raisins or such. |
