GRIDDLE COOKIES | |
1 c. sugar 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 egg 1 c. butter 3/4 c. milk 3 1/2 c. flour 1 1/4 c. raisins Mix dry ingredients. Cut in butter. Add egg, milk and raisins. Dough will be stiff. Roll on flour to about 1/4 inch thickness. Cut with knife or cutter. Oil cast iron skillet or griddle lightly. Place cookies on it. Brown one side. Tops will puff. Then turn and brown other side. Serve warm. |
