PECAN PIE 
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. Karo syrup (light or dark)
1 c. light brown sugar
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. pecan halves
1 (9-inch) pastry shell (unbaked)

In large bowl, stir together first 5 ingredients until well blended. Stir in pecan halves. Pour into pastry shell. Bake in 350 degree oven for 50 to 55 minutes, until inserted knife comes out clean. Cool.

CHOCOLATE DELUXE PECAN PIE:

Add 4 (1 oz.) squares semi-sweet or unsweetened chocolate, melted, to corn syrup mixture.
