BEEF 'N POTATO BAKE 
4 c. frozen hash browns, thawed
1 lb. ground beef
1 c. water
1 pkg. frozen vegetables
1 can French fried onions
3 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 pkg. brown gravy mix
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
Cheddar cheese to taste

In shallow 1 1/2 quart baking dish, press potatoes and oil to form shell. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Brown beef in skillet. Drain. Stir in gravy mix, water and garlic salt; bring to boil. Add vegetables. Reduce heat, cook 5 minutes. Stir in part of cheese and 1/2 can French fried onions; place in potato shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and onions. Bake 5 minutes longer.
