DROP BUTTER DUMPLINGS 
1 egg
3-1/2 tbsp. butter, softened
1/8 tsp. salt
Dash celery salt, paprika and thyme
1 tsp. parsley, minced
1/2 tsp. chives, minced
5-1/2 tbsp. flour

Mix together egg, butter, salt, spices, parsley and chives; then stir in flour. Let batter stand at room temperature for about an hour.

Bring broth, soup or salted water to gentle boil, then using a teaspoon drop batter into liquid. When dumplings rise to surface they are cooked.

Makes approximately 20.
