HAWAIIAN FRUIT COCKTAIL CAKE 
CAKE:

1 lg. can fruit cocktail, drained
2 c. sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. macadamia nuts or walnuts, chopped

Mix all ingredients well and bake at 350 degrees 40 minutes in greased and floured 13x9x2 inch pan.

TOPPING:

2/3 c. evaporated milk (sm. can)
1 stick butter
1 c. coconut or nuts or 1/2 c. each
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. sugar

Place all ingredients in saucepan and stir. Boil 3 minutes; pour over warm cake.
