HAMBURGER SKILLET STEW 
STEP 1:
1 lb. lean hamburger
1/4 c. chopped onions
1/4 c. cracker crumbs
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 of (8 oz.) can tomato sauce (save other half for Step 2)

STEP 2:
1 onion, quartered
4 med. carrots, sliced
4 med. potatoes, quartered
6 c. water (may need more)
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce

STEP 1: Combine hamburger, chopped onions, cracker crumbs, egg, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce and half of an 8 oz. can tomato sauce, as you would for a meat loaf. Then shape into meat balls, brown in skillet in 2 tablespoons canola or Puritan oil.

STEP 2: Add onion, carrots, potatoes, water, salt and 1 1/2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce. cover and simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Add 1 package of green beans or 1 can beans. Remove 1/2 cup of liquid and blend in 1 or 2 tablespoons of flour to it. Pour back into stew to thicken slowly and stirring constantly until thick. Ready to eat. Makes 4-6 servings.
